BLUESTEM PRAIRIE BURN

Prairie Burn is Bluestem Boulder’s first ever bouldering competition taking place on Saturday, April 18 and is stop number 3 in the new Midwest Bouldering Series. Open to everyone and designed for climbers of all levels!

Early bird pricing is $45 until March 28 and includes a competition T-shirt. After March 28, standard registration is $55 and does not include a competition T-shirt.

Youth Recreational (climbers 12 and under)

Youth Advanced (climbers 12 and under)

Recreational (V0-V2)

Intermediate (V2-V4)

Advanced (V4-V6)

Elite (V6+)

After qualifiers, the top 5 girls and boys in Youth Advanced and top 5 women and men in Elite categories will move on to a finals round!

Prizes

​

Everyone who competes has a chance to win prizes from sponsors and local brands! Competitors get one raffle ticket for competing and an additional raffle ticket for each boulder completed.

 

Elite competitors will also compete for a $1500 Cash Purse, which goes to the top 3 Women & Men.

Sessions

 

Check-in begins 1 hour before session start times. A rules meeting will be held 15 minutes before each session begins. Vendors & entertainment throughout the day.

Session 1 (8:00AM - 9:30AM) - Youth Recreational + Youth Advanced

Session 2 (10:00AM - 1:00PM) - Elite + Advanced

Session 3 (1:30PM - 4:30PM) - Recreational + Intermediate + Advanced

Raffle (5:30PM) - Competitors must be present to win

Finals (6PM) - Youth Advanced + Elite
